Mint sauce is a doddle to make here is a recipe. Having said that, most of us are far too lazy to do this and just buy the stuff ready made like this (about halfway down).

Thanks, Gardenridge. I use "superfine" for meringues, etc., too, but local supermarket people had never heard of it. Then I discovered they call it "bar sugar" hereabouts.

The regular sugar here is quite a bit finer than the stuff in the UK and it works fine for mint sauce. No need to look for superfine. I use Balsamic vinegar in mine.
